These terms explain the use of rivernorth-headshots.com and the general basis for photography services offered as RiverNorth Headshots. A written session agreement or confirmed quote may include additional terms. For the services covered by that agreement, its specific terms take precedence over conflicting general information on this website.
Website use and session planning
You may use this website to explore our work and compare sessions. The session planner is an estimate tool. It does not submit an inquiry, create a reservation, guarantee availability, or take payment. A session is confirmed only through a separate written confirmation and any agreed booking requirements.
Prices and package details
Prices are stated in U.S. dollars. Review the Packages page for session duration, outfits, backgrounds, included images, and team pricing. Estimates exclude applicable taxes, venue or access costs, and extras unless expressly included. Any additional charges must be agreed before they are incurred. Changes to website pricing do not change an already confirmed written quote.
Booking, payment, and schedule changes
Location, availability, payment timing, and any deposit, cancellation, rescheduling, or refund terms will be provided in writing before you confirm a session. Please review those terms before paying. If you need to change a confirmed session, contact the photographer as soon as possible through your booking correspondence. This website does not impose an additional cancellation fee or nonrefundable deposit.
Preparing for your session
Please arrive ready at the agreed time and share relevant requirements in advance, including intended image use, background preferences, accessibility needs, and application deadlines. Team organizers are responsible for coordinating attendance and arranging permission to photograph at the agreed premises. Any change to the scope, duration, or location should be agreed with the photographer.
Editing and included photographs
Color and exposure correction includes adjustments to color, brightness, contrast, and saturation for a clean, balanced look. Included retouched selections also receive detailed cleanup of temporary blemishes, stray hairs, and minor distractions. Extensive compositing, major appearance changes, or additional retouched photographs are outside the included service unless agreed.
Package image counts refer to the delivered collection and included retouched selections described on the Packages page. They do not promise every exposure, unselected proofs, or RAW files. Please communicate a specific editing request before final retouching.
Selection and delivery
The stated standard turnaround is three business days for individual and ERAS final images, or five business days for teams, after final selections and full payment. A different delivery schedule may be agreed in writing. Delays in selections, payment, or requested scope changes can affect delivery. Download your finished files and keep a separate backup; any long-term archive or re-delivery arrangement must be confirmed.
Image ownership and permitted use
Unless a written agreement provides otherwise, copyright remains with the photographer. Once agreed payment is complete, delivered photographs may be used for your professional self-promotion, including LinkedIn, company biographies, personal websites, and speaking profiles. Team clients may use delivered team headshots for the agreed company purposes.
Resale, stock licensing, transfer of copyright, or other uses outside the agreed scope require separate written permission. Displaying a photograph in our portfolio does not give website visitors permission to download, reuse, or distribute it. Third-party company names and logos belong to their respective owners; their appearance describes the photographer’s client experience and does not imply sponsorship of this website.
Permission for public display
Permission to photograph you for an agreed session is separate from permission to use your image in public marketing. Any portfolio, testimonial, or promotional use will be addressed through appropriate permission. A parent or legal guardian must authorize a minor’s participation.
ERAS and other application photographs
Tell us which application specifications and deadline apply to you. We prepare the agreed export, but you remain responsible for reviewing the applicable program’s requirements and uploading the correct file. A headshot service does not guarantee application acceptance, interviews, employment, or any other outcome. RiverNorth Headshots is not affiliated with or endorsed by AAMC or ERAS.
Website availability and concerns
We aim to keep website information accurate and the site available, but errors or interruptions may occur. Confirm details important to your booking in writing. If something is wrong with your delivered photographs or agreed service, contact the photographer promptly so the issue can be reviewed. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Updates
We may revise these website terms. The date above identifies the latest revision. A later website change does not retroactively replace the terms of a previously confirmed session agreement.
